Key takeaway: $99 a month for 170 credits is UpLead's entry price on monthly billing. Its pricing page, read on 2 November 2026, lists Essentials at $99 a month (170 credits) and Plus at $199 a month (400 credits), or $74 and $149 a month billed annually with 2,040 and 4,800 credits a year. One credit equals one contact. Extra credits cost $0.60 on Essentials and $0.50 on Plus, and Professional is quote-only and annual.
UpLead is a B2B contact database: you search for people by company, title and filters, then spend a credit to reveal a contact's verified email and mobile direct dial. Sales teams use it for prospect lists, and recruiters use the same kind of tool to find contact details for candidates they have already identified. This page covers the list prices on UpLead's own pricing page, how credits work, the terms that decide what you actually pay, and how the price per contact compares with Apollo.io, Lusha and RocketReach.
How much does UpLead cost per month?
UpLead has a free trial and three plans. The pricing page loads on monthly billing; a "See our annual plans" link switches to annual prices. Prices are in US dollars.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) | Credits | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Trial | $0 for 7 days | Not applicable | 5 | 1 user |
| Essentials | $99 | $74 | 170 a month, or 2,040 a year on annual | 1 user |
| Plus | $199 | $149 | 400 a month, or 4,800 a year on annual | 1 user |
| Professional | Not offered | Quote only ("Let's talk") | Custom | Custom |
Essentials covers verified emails, mobile phones and CRM integration. Plus adds data enrichment, email pattern intel, technographics, advanced filters and suppression list uploads. Professional adds buyer intent data, all search filters, full API access, bi-directional CRM sync, competitor intelligence, team management, a dedicated success manager, an onboarding specialist and priority phone support. The pricing FAQ says "Our Professional plan is annual."
Both self-serve plans include one user seat. UpLead's help center describes Professional as the plan "With unlimited users."
How much does annual billing save on UpLead?
Annual billing cuts the price by $25 a month on Essentials and $50 a month on Plus, a 25.3% and 25.1% saving. The credit allowance does not change: 170 credits a month on monthly billing is the same 2,040 a year that annual Essentials includes, and 400 a month matches annual Plus's 4,800.
| Plan | Year on monthly billing | Year on annual billing | Saved per year | Cost per credit, monthly | Cost per credit, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essentials | $1,188 | $888 | $300 | $0.58 | $0.44 |
| Plus | $2,388 | $1,788 | $600 | $0.50 | $0.37 |
The trade-off is commitment. Monthly plans have "no contract or long-term commitment," while annual plans are paid in advance and UpLead's terms say "All payments of Subscription Services Fees made are non-refundable and non-transferable."
How do UpLead credits work?
The pricing page defines it in one line: "A credit unlocks a contact for download or CRM export and gives you access to their email and mobile direct dial. One credit equals one contact." That is simpler than credit systems that charge more for a phone number than for an email.
Three rules from UpLead's help center change what a credit buys:
- Extra credits are priced by plan. The plan comparison table lists additional credits at $0.60 on Essentials, $0.50 on Plus and a custom rate on Professional. Packs come in 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,500 or 5,000 credits, or a custom amount, and "There is a $2000 daily cap on credit purchases."
- Enrichment charges upfront and refunds misses. For CSV enrichment, "Credits are deducted upfront based on the number of rows processed," and "If a contact is not matched, the credit is refunded after the process is complete."
- Credits survive a downgrade. When you move to a lower plan, "Any remaining credits from your current plan will roll over to your new plan based on its terms."
What does UpLead cost for more contacts a month?
Because extra credits are cheaper on Plus, the cheaper plan depends on how many contacts you reveal. On monthly billing, with extra credits bought at each plan's listed rate:
| Contacts a month | Essentials ($99 + $0.60 per extra credit) | Plus ($199 + $0.50 per extra credit) | Cheaper plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | $99 | $199 | Essentials |
| 170 | $99 | $199 | Essentials |
| 300 | $177 | $199 | Essentials |
| 400 | $237 | $199 | Plus |
| 500 | $297 | $249 | Plus |
| 1,000 | $597 | $499 | Plus |
Plus becomes the cheaper plan from 337 contacts a month. Above that, Plus also adds enrichment and advanced filters, so a buyer regularly topping up Essentials is usually better off upgrading. For larger volumes, UpLead's help center says Professional "Pricing is flexible, and tailored to the volume of credits you plan to use," and buyers can "Negotiate Pricing" with a representative. UpLead publishes no Professional rate.
What happens when the UpLead free trial ends?
The trial is free for 7 days with 5 credits. The help center gives the key condition: "Forgetting to update your plan will result in an automatic switch to the Essentials Annual Plan." At list price that is $888 for the year, paid in advance under non-refundable terms. If you only want to test the data, pick a monthly plan or close the trial account before day 7.
How do UpLead renewal, cancellation and pausing work?
The terms and help center set out the rules that matter on a renewal date:
- Auto-renewal with 60 days' notice. Plans renew for the same term "unless Customer cancels Customer's Subscription Plan at least sixty (60) days in advance of the renewal date." For an annual plan, put the deadline in your calendar two months before renewal.
- Price changes need 90 days' notice. UpLead may raise fees before a renewal "provided UpLead gives Customer notice of such fee increase at least ninety (90) days prior to the expiration of the current term."
- Downgrades wait, upgrades do not. A downgrade takes effect at the start of the next term with "no pro-rated refund of any prepaid Fees." An upgrade takes "immediate effect and Customer will be charged in full for the upgraded Subscription Plan."
- Pausing costs $2 a month. The Hibernation Plan, "for just $2 per month," keeps unused credits, saved searches and past downloads, but "you will not be able to search for or download new leads." Closing the account instead means "You will immediately lose access to all of your unused credits."
UpLead's help center says it accepts "major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover," plus PayPal, and offers ACH transfers "For enterprise customers."
How does UpLead compare to Apollo.io, Lusha and RocketReach?
The four tools meter usage differently, so a sticker comparison only goes so far. Prices below are each vendor's entry paid plan, read on its own pricing page on 2 November 2026.
| Tool and plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | What the allowance buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| UpLead Essentials | $74 a month ($888 a year) | $99 a month | 2,040 contacts a year; 1 credit returns email and mobile direct dial |
| Apollo.io Basic | $49 a seat a month ($588 a year) | $65 a seat a month | 30,000 credits a seat a year; an email costs 1 credit, a phone number 8 |
| Lusha Starter | $37.45 a month ($449.40 a year) | $49.90 a month | 4,800 credits a year, or 400 a month on monthly billing |
| RocketReach Essentials | $399 a year (shown as $33 a month) | Not read | 1,200 exports a year, email only |
On list price per year, UpLead Essentials is the most expensive entry plan of the four. Its case is the unit: one credit returns a contact's email and mobile together, where Apollo's 30,000 credits cover 3,750 phone numbers at 8 credits each, and RocketReach's cheapest plan has no phone data at all. Apollo also states that "Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle," a rule UpLead's pages do not state for its plans. Our pricing checks for Apollo.io, Lusha, RocketReach, ContactOut and Hunter.io cover each one in detail, and the ZoomInfo pricing page covers the enterprise end.
How does Noon fit next to UpLead?
UpLead answers one question: what is this person's email and phone number? For recruiting, that is the last step of a longer job. Someone still has to find the right candidates, judge them against the role and write the outreach, and per-contact credits mean the bill rises with every candidate you reveal. Our guide to justifying a sourcing tool's cost to a CFO walks through that math.
Noon is an AI sourcer built for the whole job. It searches the web for candidates, not just LinkedIn, evaluates them against your role's criteria, finds and verifies contact details, runs personalized email and SMS outreach and books interviews, with 20+ ATS integrations. Noon sells one plan with unlimited sourcing, unlimited email enrichment, unlimited contacts, unlimited agents and unlimited seats, so there are no credits to top up. Noon does not publish a dollar price; pricing is quote-based. For how other tools compare, see our best sourcing tools for recruiters and the recruiting software pricing index.

- Vendr's UpLead page listed four UpLead products but no buyer-reported prices on 2 November 2026, so no buyer-reported figure is used.
- Demand check: DataForSEO Google Ads volume, US, 2 November 2026: 90 searches a month each for "uplead pricing" and "uplead price."

Limitations
- These are point-in-time US list prices on 2 November 2026, before tax. UpLead's terms say "We reserve the right to change our pricing terms at any time."
- The contact-volume table assumes every extra credit is bought at the listed plan rate and that each revealed contact uses one credit. Enrichment refunds unmatched rows, so real usage can be lower.
- Professional has no published price. Any Professional figure in third-party pages is not from UpLead's own site and is not used here.
- The competitor table compares entry plans with different units (contacts, credits, exports) and different data (RocketReach Essentials is email only). Compare data coverage as well as price.
- UpLead's pages do not say whether unused monthly or annual credits carry into the next term, so this page makes no claim either way.
