Key takeaway: $49 per seat per month is Apollo.io's cheapest paid plan. Its pricing page, read on 23 October 2026, lists Basic at $49, Professional at $79 and Organization at $119 per seat a month billed annually (Organization has a three-seat minimum), or $65, $99 and $149 on monthly billing. Every plan runs on credits: an email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 8, so Basic's 30,000 credits per seat a year buy 3,750 phone numbers. Buyer-reported contracts on Vendr have a $19,000 a year median across 101 purchases, an estimate rather than an Apollo price.
Apollo.io is a sales intelligence and engagement platform: a contact database with verified emails and phone numbers, plus sequencing, a dialer and deal management. Recruiters use it too, mainly to find a candidate's email or mobile number before outreach, which is why it shows up next to ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Recruiter in sourcing budgets. Every price below was read in a rendered browser on 23 October 2026, with both billing toggles, and the arithmetic comes from a script committed with this article.
Two details on the page change the real cost. The "SAVE 24%" badge on the annual toggle is only true for Basic: Professional and Organization save about 20%. And credits do not roll over. Apollo's FAQ says "Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not carry over," including add-on credits you bought.
How much does Apollo.io cost per seat?
Apollo publishes four plans. All prices are per seat per month and exclude tax.
| Apollo plan (checked 23 Oct 2026) | Billed annually | Billed monthly | Credits per seat | Annual saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 900 a year, granted monthly (75 a month) | Not applicable |
| Basic | $49 | $65 | 30,000 a year (2,500 a month on monthly billing) | 24.6% ($192 a seat a year) |
| Professional | $79 | $99 | 48,000 a year (4,000 a month) | 20.2% ($240 a seat a year) |
| Organization (min 3 seats) | $119 | $149, marked "Annual Only" | 72,000 a year (6,000 a month) | 20.1% ($360 a seat a year) |
Basic and Professional come with a 14-day trial. Apollo's FAQ says "Your trial includes 75 credits and access to most features in the plan you selected." Organization's monthly view shows $149 but labels it "Annual Only," so in practice Organization is an annual contract.
A per-seat price adds up quickly across a team. On annual billing:
| Seats | Basic, per year | Professional, per year | Organization, per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $588 | $948 | $4,284 (3-seat minimum) |
| 5 | $2,940 | $4,740 | $7,140 |
| 10 | $5,880 | $9,480 | $14,280 |
| 25 | $14,700 | $23,700 | $35,700 |
One more rule from the FAQ: "All seats on an Apollo account are on the same plan." You cannot put one sourcer on Professional and the rest of the team on Basic.
How do Apollo credits work?
Credits are what you spend to reveal contact data and run some features. The pricing page lists the rates.
| Action (apollo.io, 23 Oct 2026) | Credit cost |
|---|---|
| 1 credit | |
| Phone number | 8 credits |
| Enrich data | 1 to 8 credits |
| AI research | 1 credit per run |
| US Dialer | 1 credit per 30 seconds |
| International Dialer | Varies by region |
Converted into contact reveals, each plan's yearly allowance per seat buys:
| Plan | Credits per seat a year | Emails (1 credit) | Phone numbers (8 credits) | List cost per phone number |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 900 | 900 | 112 | $0 |
| Basic | 30,000 | 30,000 | 3,750 | $0.157 |
| Professional | 48,000 | 48,000 | 6,000 | $0.158 |
| Organization | 72,000 | 72,000 | 9,000 | $0.159 |
The cost per credit barely moves between paid plans: about $0.02 on each. What you pay for on higher tiers is the feature set, not cheaper data. Credits "are pooled across your entire team and granted upfront at the start of each billing cycle," and admins "can set per-user credit caps from the team management settings." Extra credits are bought on a slider in settings, are charged immediately, and renew automatically each billing cycle until you set the slider back to zero.
For a recruiter, the phone number rate is the one to watch. A sourcer who reveals 20 mobile numbers a working day for about 230 working days needs 4,600 phone reveals, or 36,800 credits, which is more than Basic's 30,000 and fits inside Professional's 48,000. Those are our example volumes, not Apollo's.
What do the higher Apollo plans add?
The plan comparison table on the pricing page shows the limits that matter for outreach volume.
| Feature row (apollo.io, 23 Oct 2026) | Free | Basic | Professional | Organization |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Record selection limit | 25 | 1,000 | 2,500 | 10,000 |
| Daily email sends | 250 | 250 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Mailboxes per user | 1 | 1 | Unlimited Google and Microsoft + 5 SMTP | Unlimited Google and Microsoft + 15 SMTP |
| Sequences | 2 per team | Unlimited | Unlimited + A/Z testing | Unlimited + A/Z testing |
| Call recording and AI insights | 150 mins | 150 mins | 4,000 mins | 8,000 mins |
The record selection limit caps how many contacts you can select in one action. Apollo's FAQ calls "Unlimited" a feature with no set limit that is "still subject to our Fair Use Policy."
Two add-ons are priced per team, not per seat. Inbound (website visitor identification, lead routing and form enrichment) is $119 a month for Essentials or $639 for Max billed annually, and $149 or $799 billed monthly. The Advanced Dialer (international, parallel and power dialing) is $119 a month billed annually or $149 monthly. You have to pick a paid plan first, and Apollo labels the add-on pricing introductory, adding that "features and pricing may change."
What do companies actually pay for Apollo?
Buyer-reported data sits well above a single seat. All figures in this section are third-party estimates from Vendr's Apollo page, last updated February 2026, not Apollo prices.
| Buyer-reported estimate (read 23 Oct 2026) | Figure |
|---|---|
| Median annual contract | $19,000 |
| Low and high annual contract | $4,284 to $45,000 |
| Purchases in sample | 101 |
| Average saving reported | 30% |
| Annual price increase clauses | "typically 5–10% per year" |
The Vendr low of $4,284 is exactly the list price of the smallest Organization contract: three seats at $119 a month for a year. The $19,000 median equals about 20 Professional seats at list price, or about 32 Basic seats. Vendr also says "Annual contracts are typically priced 20–30% lower than month-to-month billing," which matches the 20 to 25% gap on Apollo's own toggle.
Vendr's page is older than Apollo's current plans in places. It quotes Basic at "approximately $59 per user per month (billed monthly)" where Apollo now lists $65, and it describes credits differently. Use Apollo's page for list prices and Vendr only for what buyers report paying.
Can you cancel or downgrade an Apollo plan?
Yes, with limits. Apollo's FAQ says upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately, but "refunds aren't issued for unused time in your current cycle." Cancellations take effect at the end of the plan term. On annual billing, "Mid-cycle downgrades on annual plans are not permitted," so switching from annual to monthly means waiting for the annual term to expire. Apollo also limits its plans to internal business use; reselling or building products on Apollo data needs a separate agreement.
How does Apollo pricing compare to RocketReach and ContactOut?
Both publish prices, read rendered on 23 October 2026. The plans meter data differently (Apollo by credits, RocketReach and ContactOut by exports), so this compares one seat for a year, not like for like.
| Plan (checked 23 Oct 2026) | One seat, per year | Contact data allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Apollo Basic (annual) | $588 | 30,000 credits: emails 1 credit, phones 8 |
| Apollo Professional (annual) | $948 | 48,000 credits |
| RocketReach Essentials | $399 billed annually | Email only, 1,200 exports a year |
| RocketReach Pro | $899 billed annually | Email and phone, 3,600 exports a year |
| RocketReach Ultimate | $1,699 billed annually | Email and phone, 20,000 exports a year |
| ContactOut Email | $588 ($49 a month) | Unlimited emails, 300 exports a month |
| ContactOut Email + Phone | $1,188 ($99 a month) | Unlimited emails and phones, 600 exports a month |
ContactOut's $49 and $99 prices are shown as reductions from $99 and $199, marked "Limited time only," with a "1 user per company limit" on both plans. How does Noon fit next to Apollo?
Apollo gives a recruiter a contact database and a sequencer, metered by credits and seats. Noon is built for recruiting end to end: an AI sourcer that searches the whole web for candidates, not just LinkedIn, evaluates them against your role's criteria, finds their contact details, runs personalised email and SMS outreach and books interviews, with 20+ ATS integrations.
The pricing model is the opposite of credits. Apollo's bill rises with seats, and each phone number costs 8 credits that expire at the end of the cycle. Noon sells one plan with unlimited sourcing, unlimited email enrichment, unlimited contacts, unlimited agents and unlimited seats, with no credits and no per-seat fees. Noon does not publish a dollar price; the pricing page explains how to get a quote. If you are building the business case, our guide on how to justify sourcing tool cost to a CFO walks through the numbers.
Sources and methodology
- Apollo.io pricing page, read rendered in Chrome via Playwright on 23 October 2026, once on the default annual view and once after clicking "Monthly billing." Plan cards, the plan comparison table, the credits block, add-ons and the FAQ were read from the rendered text.
- Vendr, Apollo pricing, last updated February 2026, read 23 October 2026, for buyer-reported contract values.
- RocketReach pricing and ContactOut pricing, read rendered on 23 October 2026. Lusha's pricing page did not render its plan cards in two attempts, so no Lusha price is used.
- Demand check: DataForSEO Google Ads volume, US, 23 October 2026: 1,600 searches a month for "apollo pricing," 1,000 each for "apollo.io pricing" and "apollo io pricing," and 140 for "apollo.io cost."

Limitations
- These are point-in-time list prices in US dollars on 23 October 2026, before tax. Apollo labels its add-on pricing introductory and says features and pricing may change.
- Credit costs for "Enrich data" (1 to 8 credits) and the International Dialer vary by action and region; the conversions above use only the fixed email and phone rates.
- Apollo does not publish the price of add-on credits on the pricing page; it sells them on an in-app slider.
- Vendr's figures are buyer-reported, last updated February 2026, from 101 purchases, and some of its plan descriptions predate Apollo's current page.
- The RocketReach and ContactOut comparison is one seat to one seat; the plans meter data in different units and are not identical bundles.
- The 20-numbers-a-day sourcer is an illustrative volume, not measured usage.
