Key takeaway: Spark Hire's video interview software starts at $249 per month billed annually, or $299 per month billed monthly, on its pricing page as read on 28 September 2026. The behavioral assessment is priced the same. Its applicant tracking system, Spark Hire Recruit, starts at $335 per month (Pro) and $499 per month (Growth), sold only on annual contracts, and those starting prices apply to companies with up to 50 employees. Enterprise is quote-only, and no free trial is mentioned on the page.
Spark Hire started as a one-way video interviewing tool and now sells three products from one pricing page: Video Interviews, a Behavioral Assessment, and Recruit, its ATS. Each has its own tab, its own price, and its own FAQ. The page headline is "Simple, Transparent Pricing", and it does publish more than most vendors in this category, but every price is a "starting at" figure that "varies by company size".
On the numbers, the cheapest way in is $2,988 a year for annual video interviews. The monthly option costs $3,588 a year and caps you at 5 active jobs and 5 users. If you want the ATS, the floor is $4,020 a year for Recruit Pro, which bundles video interviews.
Every figure below was read from Spark Hire's rendered pricing page on 28 September 2026. Annual totals and differences are our arithmetic on those published prices. For how Spark Hire compares with other vendors, see our recruiting software pricing index.
How much does Spark Hire cost in 2026?
| Product and plan | Annual billing | Monthly billing | Jobs and users |
|---|---|---|---|
| Video Interviews | From $249/month ($2,988/year) | From $299/month ($3,588/year) | Annual: unlimited. Monthly: up to 5 jobs, 5 users |
| Behavioral Assessment | From $249/month ($2,988/year) | From $299/month ($3,588/year) | Annual: unlimited. Monthly: up to 5 jobs, 5 users |
| Recruit Pro (ATS) | From $335/month ($4,020/year) | Not offered | Unlimited users |
| Recruit Growth (ATS) | From $499/month ($5,988/year) | Not offered | Unlimited users |
| Recruit Enterprise (ATS) | Talk to sales | Not offered | Unlimited users |
All prices are in US dollars and exclude "applicable sales tax". The ATS FAQ says the $335 and $499 starting prices are "for companies with up to 50 employees", that "for companies above 50 employees, pricing scales with your employee count", and that Pro is available to companies with up to 200 employees and Growth up to 500. The page does not publish the price at any headcount above 50.
How much does annual billing save on Spark Hire?
On Video Interviews and the Behavioral Assessment, annual billing costs $50 a month less than monthly: $249 against $299, a 16.7% saving, or $600 a year. The bigger difference is what you get. Per the FAQ, annual plans unlock "unlimited jobs and users", live onboarding and a Customer Success Manager, and interview downloads, while the monthly option is limited to 5 active jobs and 5 users.
The job limit counts roles you are actively interviewing or assessing for at one time. The FAQ says jobs "can be activated and deactivated at any time", so a team with a steady trickle of hires can rotate roles through the 5 slots. A team running 6 or more concurrent searches, or with more than 5 people reviewing interviews, is pushed onto annual billing.
The ATS has no monthly option at all: "Spark Hire's applicant tracking system can only be purchased on an annual contract (or longer term)."
What does each Spark Hire Recruit ATS plan include?
The ATS tab lists a feature matrix across Pro, Growth and Enterprise. The metered allowances are where the plans differ most.
| Allowance | Recruit Pro | Recruit Growth | Recruit Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| AI Resume Review | 6,000 reviews/year | 24,000 reviews/year | 36,000 reviews/year |
| AI notetaker | 50 hours/year | 100 hours/year | 150 hours/year |
| E-signature offers | 100 documents/year | 200 documents/year | 300 documents/year |
| Data migration | 5,000 candidates | 5,000 candidates | 5,000 candidates |
| Predictive behavioral assessment | No | Yes | Yes |
| API access | Add-on | Add-on | Included |
| Single sign-on | Add-on | Add-on | Included |
| Customer Success | Team | Team | Dedicated |
Growth costs 49% more than Pro ($499 against $335 a month) and includes four times the AI resume reviews. At the starting prices that works out to about $0.67 of annual subscription per included review on Pro ($4,020 over 6,000) and about $0.25 on Growth ($5,988 over 24,000). Growth also adds requisition and offer approvals, customizable scorecards, panel-interview scheduling, custom reports and candidate experience surveys. Enterprise adds location-based roles, custom fields, a programmatic daily export, location-based data retention, and custom terms of service and data processing agreements.
Every Recruit plan includes unlimited admin, recruiter and hiring-manager users, one-way video interviews with AI review and transcription, automated reference checks, self-service scheduling, 24x6 support and SOC 2 Type II.
Is Recruit Growth cheaper than buying video interviews and assessments separately?
Not at list prices. Video Interviews plus the Behavioral Assessment on annual billing start at $498 a month combined ($249 each), or $5,976 a year. Recruit Growth, which the FAQ says "includes both video interviewing and our predictive behavioral assessment", starts at $499 a month, or $5,988 a year. For $1 a month more you get the ATS on top, which is the clearest pricing signal on the page: Spark Hire wants video and assessment buyers on Recruit.
Two caveats apply. The FAQ says video and assessment can be bought "as a bundle" with savings that are not published, and it says "existing Spark Hire customers get the best pricing for Spark Hire Recruit as it's an incremental cost on top of your current plan". So a quote can land below either list figure.
What costs extra on Spark Hire?
The page names several paid add-ons and publishes a price for none of them:
- API access: "available as a paid add-on" on Video Interviews, Recruit Pro and Recruit Growth; included on Recruit Enterprise.
- Single sign-on: add-on on Video Interviews, Pro and Growth; included on Enterprise.
- Additional Brands: multiple brand profiles for the candidate experience, add-on on Video Interviews.
- Premium integrations: "several integrations require a paid add-on including Dayforce, UKG Pro, and Workday."
- Usage top-ups: extra AI Resume Review credits, extra blocks of 100 notetaker hours, and data migrations above 5,000 candidates are all priced by quote.
If your stack runs on Workday, Dayforce or UKG Pro, budget for the integration add-on on top of the starting price; our Workday Recruiting pricing guide covers the other side of that bill.
What are Spark Hire's contract, refund and cancellation terms?
- Payment: credit or debit card, ACH or wire, and checks in the United States. Monthly plans require a card.
- Upgrades and downgrades: upgrades are prorated from your billing date; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
- Cancellation: takes effect at the end of the current subscription term.
- Refunds: none. "Since Spark Hire initiates service as soon as you pay, we do not offer refunds."
- Data retention after cancelling: interviews and assessments are stored while you subscribe and for "up to 30 days" after you cancel. Export anything you need before the term ends; note that interview downloads are listed as annual-only.
- Legal and security review: redlines and custom security questionnaires are reserved for Enterprise prospects.
- Implementation: the ATS FAQ says most organizations go live within 30 days and data migration averages 14 days.
Who is Spark Hire a good fit for?
On the published numbers, Spark Hire suits a small or mid-sized team that wants asynchronous video screening at a known price, and can live within 5 jobs and 5 users or commit to a year. Its own page claims 7,000+ organizations use Spark Hire and 700+ use its ATS; both are vendor-reported. The video product advertises 40+ ATS integrations, SMS and link invites, and transcription in 50+ languages. To see where it sits against Willo, Hireflix and enterprise tools, read our video interviewing software comparison, and for the enterprise end of the category see HireVue pricing.
The trade-offs are the no-refund policy, the annual-only ATS, and pricing that is only fully public for companies of 50 employees or fewer.
Is there an alternative to one-way video screening?
One-way video asks candidates to record answers to camera, and some recruiters do not want to ask that of candidates. It is a hesitation we hear in Noon evaluation calls, alongside doubts about letting AI run the first screening round at all.
Noon's AI Interviewer takes a different route: candidates get an email link and, when they are ready, have a live voice conversation with an AI that asks the questions your team defines, then Noon returns a full transcript, a structured analysis and a next-round recommendation. For the interviews your team runs itself, the AI Notetaker joins the meeting, transcribes it with speaker labels and tracks which planned questions were covered. Our AI interviewer tools roundup compares this approach with other options.
Pricing works differently too. Instead of per-product plans, job caps and metered review or notetaker hours, Noon sells one plan with unlimited sourcing, contacts, agents and seats, on quote-based pricing. See the Noon pricing page for how that compares with metered tools.
Sources and methodology
All prices were read from Spark Hire's rendered pricing page on 28 September 2026 (UTC) through a browser session. Each of the three solution tabs (Applicant Tracking System, Video Interviews, Behavioral Assessment) was opened and its plan cards recorded; on the Video Interviews and Behavioral Assessment tabs the Monthly/Annual toggle was switched to Monthly and the displayed prices recorded. The ATS feature matrix and the three FAQ accordions were read from the same rendered page. Annual totals, the 16.7% saving, the Pro-to-Growth difference, per-review figures and the bundle comparison are arithmetic on the published prices. Every quote, URL and fetch timestamp is recorded in the source ledger committed with this article at seo/research/stats/spark-hire-pricing-2026/sources.json.
Search demand for "spark hire pricing" was checked with DataForSEO on the same date: about 30 searches per month in the US, with the brand term "spark hire" at about 4,400.
Limitations
- All published prices are "starting at" figures, and the ATS FAQ ties them to companies with up to 50 employees. Prices for larger companies, Recruit Enterprise and every add-on are quote-only and are not estimated here.
- The page does not say whether the $249 video and assessment starting prices carry the same 50-employee condition as the ATS; it says only that "pricing varies by company size".
- The Behavioral Assessment FAQ answer reuses the video interview wording ("Spark Hire's video interview software can be purchased month-to-month or annually"); we rely on the assessment plan card, which shows $249 annual and $299 monthly.
- The page does not mention a free trial, so we make no claim either way about trial availability.
- No third-party or buyer-reported prices are included, and the organization counts quoted are Spark Hire's own.
- Prices are a point-in-time reading; check the vendor page before buying.
