Key takeaway: Homerun's pricing page showed two plans on 27 September 2026: Core at €109 per month (3 job slots, 25 employee seats) and Plus at €195 per month (5 job slots, 50 employee seats) when billed annually, or €139 and €215 when billed monthly. Both plans carry a 12-month commitment regardless of how you pay. Annual billing saves 21.6% on Core but only 9.3% on Plus, despite the page's "save 20% or more" banner.

Homerun is an applicant tracking system with built-in HR tools aimed at small teams that want an attractive career page and a shared hiring inbox without enterprise complexity. It publishes its prices, but the structure (job slots plus employee seats, a mandatory annual contract, and add-on packs that only exist on the higher plan) means the price on the card is rarely the price you pay. Every figure below was read from Homerun's rendered pricing page and Help Center on 27 September 2026.

What does Homerun cost in 2026?

Homerun publishes prices in euros and pounds only. There is no USD price on the page, so US buyers pay in one of those two currencies.

Plan Annual billing Monthly billing Job slots Employee seats Contract
Core €109/month (€1,308/year) €139/month (€1,668/year) 3 (fixed) 25 12 months
Plus €195/month (€2,340/year) €215/month (€2,580/year) 5 (expandable) 50 (expandable) 12 months

In GBP the same plans were £99 and £177 per month on annual billing (£1,188 and £2,124 per year), or £126 and £195 billed monthly.

Both plans include full access to Homerun's ATS and HR features, unlimited ATS users and unlimited candidates, according to the Core and Plus plan articles in Homerun's Help Center. Prices exclude VAT.

How much does annual billing actually save?

The pricing page says "Save 20% or more by paying annually". That holds for Core, where €139 drops to €109 (21.6%). It does not hold for Plus, where €215 drops to €195, a 9.3% saving. If you are choosing Plus, the discount for paying upfront is modest, and because the contract is 12 months either way, monthly billing costs you €240 more per year in exchange for spreading the cash out.

What are job slots and employee seats?

Homerun meters two things, and understanding both is the whole pricing story:

  • Job slots are the number of jobs you can have open at once. Core is capped at 3 and, per the Plus plan article, "the Core plan includes 3 fixed job slots, which cannot be increased". Plus starts at 5 and can be expanded in packs of 5.
  • Employee seats are the number of people with an active account in Homerun HR, the people-management side of the product. Core includes 25, Plus includes 50, and only Plus can add more.

Recruiter or hiring-manager logins are not metered. That is the opposite of most ATS vendors, which charge per recruiter seat and leave job counts open. If you are comparing Homerun with Recruitee, note that Recruitee also caps job slots on its entry plan. Our Teamtailor and Pinpoint breakdowns cover two other small-team ATS tools priced on different models.

What do Homerun add-ons cost?

Add-ons exist only on Plus, and the price depends on how you bill:

Add-on (Plus only) Monthly billing Annual billing Effective unit price (annual)
+5 job slots €125/month €105/month €21 per slot per month
+50 employee seats €79/month €52/month €1.04 per seat per month

Worked example: a team running 10 open roles at a time needs Plus plus one job-slot pack. On annual billing that is €195 + €105 = €300 per month, or €3,600 per year. On monthly billing it is €215 + €125 = €340 per month. Compare that with the included slots: Core works out at €36.33 per slot per month on annual billing, Plus at €39.00, and each additional Plus slot at €21.00. Volume gets cheaper, but only once you are already on Plus.

For a team with 30 open roles the maths gets steep: Plus plus five packs is €195 + €525 = €720 per month on annual billing, which puts Homerun in the same bracket as mid-market ATS tools tracked in our recruiting software pricing index.

What are Homerun's contract and cancellation terms?

This is the part buyers most often miss on a "monthly" price:

  • 12-month commitment on every plan. The Help Center states "All plans come with a 12-month commitment. You can choose to pay either upfront or in monthly instalments." The pricing cards themselves say "Annual contract" under both the monthly and annual price.
  • Automatic renewal. Yearly contracts renew for another term unless cancelled. The Plus plan article says "All plans require a minimum of 30 days' notice to cancel. Plans will only be cancelled on your next renewal date."
  • Reminder emails. Homerun sends renewal reminders 60 days and 45 days before the renewal date.
  • Failed payments. An unpaid invoice outstanding for more than 30 days leads to the account being deactivated.

Homerun changed its plan lineup in 2025, replacing Light, Basic and the old Plus with the current Core and Plus. Customers on Legacy Light or Legacy Basic keep their setup unless they switch, according to the plan-changes article. The Help Center pricing article still refers to "three different plans" while naming only Core and Plus, and the pricing page renders only two plan cards, so treat any reference to a third Homerun tier with caution until the vendor publishes a price for it.

Is there a free trial or a discount?

  • Free trial: the pricing page and homepage advertise 15 days with no credit card. The Help Center says trials run "14-15 days, depending on the current offer". Trials are limited to 100 candidates and cannot send real emails to candidates, only demo emails, so you cannot fully test outreach before paying.
  • Non-profits: Homerun's Help Center says "all non-profits can use Homerun for 20% off".
  • No free plan: unlike some small-business tools in our small-business recruiting software comparison, Homerun has no permanent free tier.

Who is Homerun a good fit for?

Homerun's homepage claims 1000+ teams use it and cites a 4.7 Capterra rating (vendor-reported; Capterra's own listing was unreachable when we checked). Its features page lists a career-page builder, job posting, a shared candidate inbox, email templates and bulk email, interview scheduling, reporting and an API. Its integrations page lists Google Calendar, Google Meet, Outlook Calendar, Indeed, LinkedIn, Slack and Microsoft Teams, plus Apideck and Merge for broader HR-system connectivity.

That makes it a sensible fit for a company hiring a handful of roles at a time that cares about employer branding and wants HR admin in the same tool. It is a poor fit for anyone with more than 5 to 10 concurrent openings, where the slot packs add up quickly, and for anyone who needs month-to-month flexibility, because there is none.

Where does Homerun stop, and what fills the gap?

Homerun manages the candidates who apply. It does not find candidates who have not applied. Its outreach tooling is a shared inbox with templates and bulk email to people already in your pipeline.

That is the gap Noon is built for. Noon sources candidates from the open web, evaluates and ranks them against the role, and runs personalised email and SMS outreach to the ones worth talking to. It syncs with 20+ applicant tracking systems through a single integrations layer, so an ATS remains the system of record while Noon fills the top of the funnel. Noon is sold as a single plan with unlimited sourcing, contacts, agents and seats on quote-based pricing; see the Noon pricing page for how that compares with per-slot tooling when your hiring volume is unpredictable.

Sources and methodology

All prices were read from Homerun's rendered pricing page at https://www.homerun.co/pricing on 27 September 2026 (UTC), toggling Monthly/Annually and EUR/GBP in the browser and recording each state. Plan contents, add-on prices, contract terms, trial limits and the non-profit discount come from Homerun Help Center articles fetched the same day: "How does Homerun's pricing work?", "Core plan", "Plus plan", "How our limits work", "Changes to our plan offerings - 2025", "The difference between a trial and a paid Homerun account" and "Does Homerun offer a discount for NGOs?". Feature and integration lists come from homerun.co/product/features and homerun.co/integrations. Yearly totals, savings percentages and per-slot figures are arithmetic on those published prices. Every quote, URL and fetch timestamp is recorded in the source ledger committed with this article at seo/research/stats/homerun-pricing-2026/sources.json.

Search demand for "homerun pricing" was checked with DataForSEO on the same date: roughly 10 searches per month each in the US and UK, with "homerun ats" at about 20 per month in the UK.

Limitations

  • Prices are a point-in-time reading and Homerun can change them without notice. Check the vendor page before buying.
  • Only EUR and GBP prices are published. We did not convert to USD, because any conversion would be an estimate rather than a vendor price.
  • Third-party review sites (G2, Capterra, Software Advice, GetApp) were unreachable during the check, so no independent rating or buyer-reported price is included. The Capterra rating quoted is the figure on Homerun's own homepage.
  • Legacy plan prices for Light, Basic and the old Plus are not published on the current pricing page and are not included.
  • The Help Center's "three different plans" wording and the pricing page's two cards conflict; we report what the pricing page renders.
