Key takeaway: $20 to $26 per employee per month is where UKG itself says its suites "typically start", in an HR software cost guide on ukg.com dated 8 September 2026 (UKG cost guide, read 23 September 2026). That is the only UKG-authored dollar figure we could find: ukg.com/pricing returns "Page Not Found", the UKG Pro product page carries no price, and the UKG Ready plans page ends every plan card with "Get pricing". Third-party estimates for UKG Pro specifically sit higher, at $27 to $41 per employee per month depending on the modules counted, and buyer-reported data puts the median UKG contract at $13,645 per year across 49 purchases spanning all UKG products (Vendr, read 23 September 2026). UKG does not confirm any of the third-party numbers.

UKG Pro is UKG's enterprise human capital management suite, which OutSail describes as "designed for larger organizations with 750–25,000+ employees"; some third-party pricing pages still file it under its former name, UltiPro. Recruiting is not a standalone UKG Pro product with its own price. It is one capability inside UKG's talent-management module, alongside onboarding, performance, learning, compensation and succession, and it is priced the way every UKG module is priced: as an addition to a per-employee-per-month rate.

This page records exactly what UKG's own site says about cost on the check date, separates that from third-party estimates, and shows what a recruiting module adds. If you are pricing an enterprise suite against its neighbors, Workday Recruiting pricing, SAP SuccessFactors pricing and Oracle HCM Recruiting pricing follow the same format, and the recruiting software pricing index counts which vendors publish a price at all.

Does UKG publish UKG Pro pricing?

No. On 23 September 2026 we read four UKG pages in a rendered browser and found no dollar figure for UKG Pro on any of them:

UKG page (read 23 Sep 2026) What it shows about price
ukg.com/pricing "Page Not Found"
UKG Pro product page No price, no "pricing" or "quote" wording anywhere in the body text
UKG talent management (recruiting module) Describes "intelligent sourcing and recruitment tools"; no price
UKG Ready plans Four plan cards, each ending in "Get pricing"; FAQ says to "connect with a UKG sales expert to receive a personalized quote"

The one place UKG does put a number on its own products is a buyer's guide in its resource library, not a pricing page. The guide, last updated 8 September 2026, says: "UKG solutions typically start at approximately $20–$26 PEPM, depending on factors such as company size, business needs, and whether you're evaluating UKG Ready or UKG Pro. Like many software providers, the UKG PEPM pricing generally decreases as employee count increases." The same guide states that "UKG does not charge a base fee" on top of the per-employee rate, and adds the caveat that its "pricing examples reflect publicly available market data as of 2025-2026 and should be verified before budgeting."

Under the rule this page applies, that $20 to $26 figure is vendor guidance, not a published list price: it is a starting range for both UKG products, it does not appear on a pricing page, and UKG itself tells readers to verify it.

How much does UKG Pro cost per employee per month?

Every UKG Pro-specific figure in circulation is a third-party estimate. We read four of them on 23 September 2026 and list them separately, because they measure different bundles and were written at different times.

Source (read 23 Sep 2026) UKG Pro estimate What it appears to cover Label
UKG cost guide (updated 8 Sep 2026) $20 to $26 per employee per month Starting point for "UKG solutions", Ready or Pro Vendor guidance, not a list price
SoftwareFinder $27 to $37 per user per month "estimated price" for UKG Pro Third-party estimate
OutSail (older guide) $27 to $37 per employee per month UKG Pro software fees Broker estimate
OutSail (2026 guide) $32 to $41 per employee per month; base HCM without advanced workforce management $27 to $35 Full HCM plus workforce management suite Broker estimate
Vendr No per-employee figure; "UKG does not publish standard list pricing" Custom quotes by headcount, modules, term Buyer-reported (anonymized contracts)

The spread is mostly a bundling difference. OutSail's 2026 guide draws the line explicitly: the $27 to $35 range is "the base HCM platform without advanced WFM", and $32 to $41 is the full suite with workforce management. UKG's own $20 to $26 is a floor across both products and, by UKG's description, the rate falls as headcount rises.

For scale, OutSail's 2026 guide works through a 1,000-employee UKG Pro deployment: "At $32–41 PEPM, annual software costs would run approximately $384,000–$492,000." That is OutSail's estimate, and UKG has not confirmed it.

What does the recruiting module add to a UKG Pro quote?

UKG does not price recruiting separately in public. Three facts from the check date frame what it costs:

  1. Recruiting is a talent-management capability, not a product. UKG's talent management page (read 23 September 2026) lists recruiting among its talent capabilities and describes "intelligent sourcing and recruitment tools" with "branded, mobile-first application flows", "resume parsing and automation", and "UKG Talent Marketplace to source talent attracted to clear development pathways". It sits with onboarding, performance and coaching, learning, compensation and succession.
  2. Modules add to the per-employee rate. Vendr's breakdown of UKG's structure (read 23 September 2026) lists "Module add-ons" as "Additional PEPM charges for talent management, advanced analytics, learning management, and other specialized capabilities" and notes that UKG Pro quotes vary by "Selected modules (core HR/payroll vs. full talent suite)".
  3. On the sibling product, recruiting is a pick. UKG Ready's plans page shows recruiting included in the under-200-employee Start plan, absent from Core, and one of "three of your choice" in Plus or "six of your choice" in Advanced. No dollar amount is attached to any of the four plans.

The practical consequence for a recruiting buyer: a talent module on UKG Pro is charged across the whole headcount, not the recruiting team. On a 3,000-employee deployment, every dollar of monthly module rate is $36,000 a year, whether ten people or two hundred use the recruiting screens. That is the same structural point our HiBob pricing and Paylocity pricing pages make about HRIS-attached recruiting: the module is cheap per employee and expensive per recruiter.

What do companies actually pay for UKG?

The only contract-level dataset we could read is Vendr's, and it covers all UKG products together, not UKG Pro alone. On 23 September 2026 it showed:

Vendr metric (read 23 Sep 2026) Value
Median annual contract ("Median buyer pays") $13,645 per year
Low $3,147
High $191,985
Purchases in the sample 49
Deals handled 67
Average savings off initial quote 11.33% ("buyers saving 11% on average")

Source: Vendr UKG marketplace page. These are buyer-reported estimates; UKG has not confirmed them.

A $13,645 median looks low next to the enterprise estimates above, and the mismatch is informative. Vendr's sample mixes UKG Ready and UKG Pro and, by its own description, UKG Pro deals run "typically 500–10,000+ employees". At even $20 per employee per month, 500 employees is $120,000 a year, so the median contract in this dataset is almost certainly dominated by smaller UKG Ready purchases, add-on modules, or partial-year deals. Treat the $191,985 high and the module and volume notes as the UKG Pro-relevant parts of the dataset, not the median.

Is there any UKG Pro price UKG has actually published?

One, and only for the workforce-management part of UKG Pro in the UK public sector. UKG Technology Ltd's listing for "UKG Pro Workforce Management" on the UK Government's Digital Marketplace (G-Cloud, Lot 2: Cloud software), read 23 September 2026, states a price of £2.00 to £7.50 a user. The listing's service terms also confirm the billing unit: service credits are calculated as "3% of Customer's monthly PEPM Fees for every 1% of Availability below 99.75%".

This is a vendor-published figure, but a narrow one. It covers time, attendance, scheduling and workforce analytics for UK public-sector buyers, not the HCM, payroll or talent modules, and G-Cloud prices are ceilings for a framework rather than what any single buyer pays. It is still the only place UKG puts a per-user price on a UKG Pro component in public.

What drives a UKG Pro quote up or down?

From UKG's own guide and the buyer reports above, five inputs move the number:

  1. Headcount. UKG says its per-employee rate "generally decreases as employee count increases". Vendr reports that "Volume discounting typically begins at 1,000+ employees", and OutSail estimates a 3,000-employee company pays "sometimes 20–30% less per employee" than a 500-employee one.
  2. Modules. Core HR and payroll are the base; talent management (including recruiting), advanced analytics, learning and workforce management each add to the rate (Vendr, OutSail).
  3. Contract length. Vendr: "Multi-year contracts (3 or 5 years) typically unlock lower PEPM pricing and reduced or waived implementation fees."
  4. Implementation. UKG's guide says implementation "can be one to three times the annual subscription cost" for HR software generally. OutSail's UKG-specific estimate is 40 to 70% of annual software fees for UKG Pro and "$50,000–$500,000+ for full-suite enterprise deployments".
  5. Growth clauses. Vendr warns that "adding employees, modules, or features mid-term may trigger higher per-unit pricing than initial contract rates".

How does UKG Pro's recruiting module compare to a dedicated sourcing tool?

UKG Pro's recruiting capability is an applicant tracking layer inside an HCM: branded application flows, resume parsing, candidate communication and an internal talent marketplace, priced per employee across the company. It handles people who apply. For teams choosing an ATS on its own merits, our guide to the best applicant tracking systems compares standalone options, and the Cornerstone OnDemand pricing page covers the other suite most often shortlisted against UKG for talent.

Noon sits in front of that layer. It is not an HCM and does not replace UKG Pro's core HR or payroll; it finds, evaluates and contacts candidates who have not applied, then hands them to whichever ATS you run. Two differences matter to a UKG buyer doing the math:

  • Pricing model. Noon's pricing is a single plan with unlimited sourcing, unlimited contacts, unlimited agents and unlimited seats, quoted per team rather than per employee or per module. Noon does not publish a dollar price either, so the honest comparison is structural: no per-employee multiplier across 3,000 staff to cover a recruiting team of twelve, and no per-seat fee.
  • Where candidates come from. UKG's recruiting tools manage inbound applicants and internal mobility; Noon's AI Sourcer searches the whole web for people who match a role, and AI Outreach runs personalized email and SMS sequences to reach them. Noon then syncs to the ATS of record through 20+ ATS integrations.

The two are complementary: UKG Pro (or any HCM) as the system of record, Noon as the sourcing and outreach layer in front of it.

Sources and methodology

Every figure on this page was collected on 23 September 2026 by reading the rendered page in a browser, and each quote is recorded with its URL and fetch timestamp in the article's sources.json in the noon.ai repository (seo/research/stats/ukg-pro-pricing-2026/sources.json).

Limitations. UKG does not confirm any third-party figure, and the estimate sources do not document their methods in comparable detail: Vendr states a sample (49 purchases) but does not split it by product; OutSail and SoftwareFinder state no sample. UKG's own $20 to $26 range covers both UKG Ready and UKG Pro and is explicitly a starting point. The G-Cloud price covers one UKG Pro component in one country. No source we could read isolates the price of the recruiting module. Noon is a vendor of recruiting software and, like UKG, does not publish a dollar price; the Noon section above describes structure, not cost.

FAQ

How much does UKG Pro cost in 2026?

UKG does not publish a UKG Pro price. Its own HR software cost guide (updated 8 September 2026) says UKG suites "typically start at approximately $20–$26 PEPM" and that the rate falls as headcount rises. Third-party estimates specific to UKG Pro range from $27 to $37 per employee per month (SoftwareFinder, OutSail's older guide) to $32 to $41 for the full suite with workforce management (OutSail's 2026 guide). All were read on 23 September 2026 and none is confirmed by UKG.

Is UKG Pro priced per employee?

Yes. UKG's cost guide describes "UKG PEPM pricing", the G-Cloud listing bills "PEPM Fees" and prices "a user", and Vendr describes UKG Pro quotes as "per-employee-per-month". UKG's guide also says it charges no base platform fee on top of the per-employee rate.

Does UKG Pro charge extra for recruiting?

Recruiting is part of UKG's talent-management module, and modules carry additional per-employee charges on top of the core HR and payroll rate (Vendr, 23 September 2026). UKG does not publish the module's price. On UKG Ready, recruiting is included in the Start plan and is one of the selectable capabilities in Plus and Advanced.

What is the difference between UKG Pro and UKG Ready pricing?

Both are quoted per employee per month with no published list price. UKG Ready is the smaller-business product with four named plans (Start, Core, Plus, Advanced) on a public plans page; UKG Pro has no plans page. Third-party estimates put Ready at $21 to $33 per employee per month and Pro at $27 to $41, depending on the source and bundle (SoftwareFinder, OutSail, read 23 September 2026).

How much is UKG Pro's implementation fee?

UKG does not publish one. OutSail estimates 40 to 70% of annual software fees for UKG Pro, or "$50,000–$500,000+ for full-suite enterprise deployments". UKG's own cost guide says HR software implementation in general "can be one to three times the annual subscription cost". Vendr reports that multi-year commitments often bring "reduced or waived implementation fees".

Does Noon replace UKG Pro?

No. UKG Pro is an HCM with recruiting inside its talent module; Noon is an autonomous sourcing and outreach layer that finds and contacts candidates, then syncs to your ATS. Teams typically run both. See Noon's pricing page for how its single unlimited plan is structured, and the cost-per-hire benchmarks for sizing the recruiting budget the software sits inside.
