Key takeaway: Around $115 per user is PCRecruiter's own published starting price in 2026. Its FAQ, read on 18 October 2026 under the heading "MONTHLY OPTION," says "PCRecruiter accounts start at around $115/user," including the current version, secure database storage with daily backups, API access, integrations and standard support. A one-time setup and training fee comes on top and "will vary based on the needs of your organization." Capterra, Software Advice and SoftwareFinder list $85 per user per month, which SoftwareFinder ties to a two-year contract. That figure is not on PCRecruiter's site, so treat it as an estimate.
PCRecruiter is a recruiting ATS and CRM from Main Sequence Technology, sold mostly to recruiting agencies and search firms. Its newest interface, PCRM, launched in June 2025 for "solo recruiters and growing agencies," according to the launch post. On Capterra it holds a 4.3 overall rating from 380 reviews and 4.6 for customer service from 338 reviews, both read on 18 October 2026.
PCRecruiter has no standalone pricing page: pcrecruiter.net/site/pricing/ returned a 404 on the check date. This page collects every PCRecruiter price point we could verify that day and labels each one by who published it. Exact quotes and fetch times are in the source ledger committed with this article.
Does PCRecruiter publish its pricing?
Partly. The FAQ answer to "What does PCRecruiter cost?" gives one starting figure and lists the fees that sit around it, without plan names or a per-month label beyond the "MONTHLY OPTION" heading.
| PCRecruiter price point | Published by PCRecruiter? | Figure (checked 18 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Hosted account, monthly option | Yes | Starts at around $115 per user |
| Included in that price | Yes | Current version, database storage with daily backups, API access, integrations, standard support |
| Enterprise installed option (your own server) | Yes, as quote-only | Customized quote |
| Setup and training | Yes, as a fee type | One-time fee, varies by organization |
| Data migration | Yes, as a fee type | Depends on job complexity, no figure |
| Extra training, custom HTML, specialized support | Yes, as a fee type | "Nominal prices," no figure |
| API, Premium version | Yes | $100 per month for up to 50,000 calls a day |
| Starting price on review directories | No | $85 per user per month (Capterra, Software Advice, SoftwareFinder) |
How much does PCRecruiter cost per user per month?
Two numbers circulate, and they come from different places. PCRecruiter's own page says around $115 per user under its monthly option. The review directories say $85 per user per month: Capterra lists "$85 Per User, Per Month" as the starting price, Software Advice lists "Starting at $85.00," and SoftwareFinder (updated 9 February 2026) says "a two-year basic contract, starting at $85 per user per month."
The likeliest reading is that the $30 gap is the price of flexibility: a monthly option at around $115 against a two-year commitment at $85. PCRecruiter does not confirm the two-year figure on its own site, so we label it an estimate everywhere it appears. At the published figure, the annual cost before setup fees works out as follows (our arithmetic, assuming the $115 is monthly as the heading implies):
| Team size | At around $115 per user (PCRecruiter FAQ) | At $85 per user (review sites, estimate) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 user | $1,380 a year | $1,020 a year |
| 5 users | $6,900 a year | $5,100 a year |
| 10 users | $13,800 a year | $10,200 a year |
PCRecruiter sells one product across sizes. Its homepage says that "rather than offering different versions and products for different company sizes, PCRM is the same familiar, flexible tool for one recruiter or a team of ten."
What fees come on top of the per-user price?
PCRecruiter names four. Setup and training is a one-time fee that varies by organization. Data migration from your previous system is priced by complexity. Extra training, custom HTML work and specialized technical support are billed at what the FAQ calls "nominal prices." And self-hosting on your own web server is quote-only.
None of these has a published figure. The only dollar amounts we found come from one verified Software Advice reviewer who wrote in December 2021 of paying "$500 to get set up, then $99/month + about $1,000 if you want to import contacts." That is a single buyer's report from nearly five years ago, not a PCRecruiter price, but it shows that setup and migration can exceed a month or two of subscription fees for a small team.
The API has its own published price. The PCRecruiter developer page says the basic API "is available at no added cost to all PCRecruiter accounts," with a free version for up to 5,000 calls a day and a Premium version at $100 a month for up to 50,000 calls a day ($1,200 a year, our arithmetic). Data exit has a cost line too: PCRecruiter's data policy post of 1 October 2026 says one standard JSON export is included if requested within 60 days of termination, and that "attachments and enhanced exports may cost extra."
What do you get with PCRecruiter?
According to pcrecruiter.net on the check date, PCRM combines an ATS and recruiting CRM with sequencing automation (call scripts, email drip campaigns, SMS through a RingCentral integration), an AI suite for natural-language search of your own database and drafting emails, summaries and job descriptions, a Deals workflow for business development, a candidate pipeline, a branded job board and the PCR Capture browser extension. Every customer gets "a private, single-tenant database," and the company says PCRM "has undergone an independent SOC 2 examination."
The newest packaging is an AI tier. PCRecruiter's 27 August 2026 update says its MCP server, which lets an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT work with the PCR API, "is now available to anyone on our PCRM⬢MCP account tier," bundled with PCRM, AI Candidate Match and the legacy PCR9 interface. The post gives no price for the tier, so ask whether the around-$115 figure covers it.
PCRecruiter also publishes support standards, a rarity in this category: calls answered by a person in under 30 seconds, first training scheduled within one business day, and eight US-based support staff, per its 16 September 2026 post. Those are PCRecruiter's own claims. Capterra says no free trial is available.
How does PCRecruiter pricing compare to other agency ATS tools?
Prices below are from each vendor's own pricing page on 18 October 2026.
| Tool | Entry price (vendor page, 18 Oct 2026) | Billing basis |
|---|---|---|
| PCRecruiter | Around $115 per user | Monthly option; review sites list $85 on a two-year contract (estimate) |
| Bullhorn | Starter $99, Core $165 per user per month | Higher tiers quote-only |
| Crelate | Essentials $85 per user per month paid annually (up to 2 users), Business $119 | Business billed annually or monthly |
| Recruiterflow | $119 per user per month annually, $149 monthly | Platform Plan |
| Loxo | Core starts at $149 per user per month | Billed annually |
| Top Echelon | Standard $79, Professional $95 per month | Billed annually |
| Noon | One plan, no seat or usage meters | Quote-based, no published price |
PCRecruiter's published figure sits in the middle of the agency ATS range: above Top Echelon and Bullhorn Starter, below Bullhorn Core and Loxo Core. A five-user team on Bullhorn Starter pays $5,940 a year at list price (5 x $99 x 12), against about $6,900 at PCRecruiter's figure. Our staffing agency software comparison and our guide to the best recruitment CRMs for agencies cover these tools on features, and the recruiting software pricing index puts them beside in-house ATS vendors.
How does Noon compare to PCRecruiter?
PCRecruiter is a system of record: it stores the candidates, clients and deals an agency already has and helps recruiters work them. Noon does the work that fills it. Its AI recruiting platform searches for candidates across the whole web, not just LinkedIn, evaluates each one against the role's criteria and non-negotiables, runs personalized email and SMS outreach, and books first interviews with its AI Scheduler.
The pricing models differ in the way that matters to a growing desk. PCRecruiter charges per user, so every recruiter added raises the bill. Noon's pricing is a single plan with unlimited sourcing, unlimited contacts, unlimited agents and unlimited seats. A recurring evaluation criterion in our sales calls is unlimited usage rather than credit-based or capped models, and that is the plan Noon sells. Noon does not publish a dollar price either; the pricing page explains how a quote is built.
Sources and methodology
We read pcrecruiter.net (FAQ, homepage, developer API page, the June 2025 PCRM launch post and the August, September and October 2026 posts) rendered in a browser on 18 October 2026, along with Capterra, Software Advice, SoftwareFinder, the recruitingagencysoftware.com directory entry (which copies the FAQ's around-$115 figure), and the Bullhorn, Crelate, Recruiterflow, Loxo and Top Echelon pricing pages. G2 and Forbes Advisor returned access errors and are not used. A price counts as published only if it appears on the vendor's own site on the check date. Annual totals are our arithmetic on the quoted figures. Search demand was checked the same day: "pcrecruiter cost" draws about 40 US searches a month and "pcrecruiter pricing" about 30, per DataForSEO.
Limitations. PCRecruiter's FAQ says "around" $115 and does not state the billing period beyond its "MONTHLY OPTION" heading, so the annual totals assume a monthly charge. The $85 figure appears only on review directories and is not confirmed by PCRecruiter. Setup, migration and the PCRM⬢MCP tier have no published price, and the only setup figures we found are one reviewer's 2021 report. Support standards are PCRecruiter's own claims.
