Key takeaway: Glassdoor publishes one employer price: $0, for the free employer profile. On 3 October 2026, Glassdoor's plans and pricing page listed a Free plan and a Paid plan, and the Paid plan had a "Contact Sales" button instead of a number. Job posting is no longer a Glassdoor product: "Jobs you pay to post on Indeed will also appear on Glassdoor." The only dollar figure we could verify is a buyer-reported estimate: Vendr puts the median Glassdoor contract at $17,199 a year, from 39 purchases, with a low of $6,440 and a high of $47,816.

Glassdoor is a harder pricing question than most recruiting tools, because what an employer buys from it changed twice. In 2020 it stopped selling its own job slots and began routing paid job posts through Indeed. On 1 July 2026, Glassdoor legally merged into Indeed, Inc., according to Reworked's report of 24 July 2026, which says the brand, product and anonymous reviews continue under Indeed's terms of use and privacy policy.

So "Glassdoor pricing" in 2026 means two separate bills: an employer-branding subscription bought from Glassdoor's sales team, and job advertising bought from Indeed. This page covers both, with every figure taken from a page we read on the check date.

This page covers one vendor. For the same rule applied across the market (a price counts as published only if it is on the vendor's own pricing page), see our recruiting software pricing index.

How much does Glassdoor cost for employers in 2026?

The free employer profile costs $0. Every paid Glassdoor product is priced by quote. This is the full plan table as it rendered on Glassdoor's own page on 3 October 2026.

Glassdoor plan (checked 3 October 2026) Published price What the page lists
Free ("Find your Voice") $0, sign up Basic company info and mission, review requests and responses, basic employer profile analytics
Paid ("Amplify Your Message") Not published, "Contact Sales" Everything in Free plus premium branded content, advanced job seeker and employee insights, competitive benchmarking
Employer Branding Ads Not published, sales form Brand ads across "Glassdoor, Indeed and hundreds of other sites"
Spotlight Pages Not published, sales form Team or division pages across Glassdoor and Indeed "for one price"

Source: glassdoor.com/employers/features-and-pricing and the Employer Branding Ads and Spotlight Pages product pages, all rendered 3 October 2026.

The Paid plan is sold as the Employer Branding Hub. Glassdoor's page says buying it "unlocks access to both the Glassdoor Enhanced Profile and Indeed's Company Pages Premium", so one contract now covers your company page on both sites.

What does the free Glassdoor employer profile include?

The free profile lets you claim your company page, add basic company info and your mission, and request and respond to reviews. Glassdoor's reviews page calls these "free review tools," and the same page says you can see your Indeed reviews and ratings from the Glassdoor Employer Center.

What free does not include matters more for a recruiting budget. On Glassdoor's how-it-works page, two of the Enhanced Employer Profile features are competitive ones:

  1. Removing competitor jobs from your profile. The page reads: "Ensure only your jobs appear on your profile by removing competitor jobs." On a free profile, other employers' jobs can sit on your page.
  2. Placing your jobs on rival profiles. Enhanced lets you "Sponsor your open jobs to appear on 5 to 10 competitor profiles."

If you are deciding whether a paid profile is worth it, those two lines are the real trade. Our guide to employer branding best practices covers what to do with the free tools first.

What do companies actually pay for Glassdoor?

Buyer-reported estimate, not a Glassdoor price: a median of $17,199 a year. Vendr, a software purchasing service, published these figures from its own transaction data on the page we rendered on 3 October 2026 (the page says it was last updated in February 2026):

Vendr figure (buyer-reported estimate) Value
Median annual contract $17,199
Low end of observed contracts $6,440
High end of observed contracts $47,816
Purchases in the sample 39
Average saving vs. first quote 25%

Vendr itself says Glassdoor pricing "is not published transparently on Glassdoor's website; instead, it's quote-based." Treat the table as a negotiation reference, not a list price. Vendr's sample also predates the July 2026 merger and mixes product bundles, so a quote for today's Employer Branding Hub may not match it.

One practical reading of the 25% figure: Vendr's buyers on average paid a quarter less than the first number they were given. Ask for the quote in writing, then ask what it would take to reach the median.

How much does it cost to post a job on Glassdoor?

You do not buy job posts from Glassdoor anymore. You buy them from Indeed, and they appear on both sites. Glassdoor's post-a-job page says: "Get started with Indeed, where you can post an open role in minutes. Jobs you pay to post on Indeed will also appear on Glassdoor." Its help center, updated 14 November 2025, confirms that "When you sponsor a job on Indeed, it will automatically be posted on Glassdoor."

That change dates to 2020. A Glassdoor blog post on job posting costs states that "as of September 2020, companies will no longer have the ability to resubscribe to Glassdoor Job Slots subscriptions." Price lists that still quote Glassdoor job slots are describing a product that cannot be renewed.

So the job posting price is Indeed's, and Indeed does not print a dollar figure either:

Indeed option (checked 3 October 2026) Published terms
Free post "You can post up to three free* jobs per month directly on Indeed."
Standard Sponsored Job Budget recommended by Indeed; Indeed claims "3X more applications than free"
Premium Sponsored Job Budget recommended by Indeed; no dollar price on the page
Premium Plus (beta) "AI-powered Recruiting Assistant"; no dollar price on the page

Sources: indeed.com/hire/pricing and Indeed's pricing guide (last updated 19 August 2026). Indeed says "There is no flat upfront fee to post a job on Indeed" and that it "provides a recommended budget based on the criteria you provided, such as job title, location, and job description." Our Indeed pricing breakdown covers how those budgets are billed.

Why did Glassdoor stop publishing its own prices?

Glassdoor no longer runs as a separate company. USA Today reported on 11 July 2025 that "The operations of job and company review site Glassdoor will be integrated into job search site Indeed," and Reworked reported that the legal merger closed on 1 July 2026. In November 2025, per the same Reworked article, "new Glassdoor users had to sign in with an Indeed account."

Glassdoor's help center states the split plainly: its "product innovation will focus on its core strengths: employer branding and insights." Hiring products, and their prices, sit with Indeed. That is why the Glassdoor pricing page lists only branding and analytics features.

How does Glassdoor compare with other job board pricing?

Glassdoor sits at the quote-only end of the market. Monster's own pricing page listed promoted jobs "Starting at $8/day" when we checked on 2 October 2026 (see Monster job posting pricing). LinkedIn publishes free-post limits but no job posting price (see LinkedIn job posting pricing). Glassdoor prints $0 and "Contact Sales."

If you want the branding value without the contract, our list of Glassdoor alternatives compares ten review and employer-brand sites. And if you only need free distribution, nine boards still allow it, covered in free job posting sites.

How does Noon's pricing model compare?

Glassdoor and Indeed both pay to reach people who are already looking at job boards. Neither reaches the employed engineers, nurses or account executives who are not browsing reviews this month. That is the gap AI sourcing fills: the Noon platform searches the whole web for people who fit the role, evaluates them against your criteria, and runs personalized email and SMS outreach.

On cost, Noon's pricing is one plan with no limits: unlimited sourcing, unlimited email enrichment, unlimited contacts, unlimited agents and unlimited seats, with no credits, no caps and no per-seat fees. Noon does not publish a dollar price; pricing is quote-based per team.

How were the sources checked?

Methodology. On 3 October 2026 we rendered Glassdoor's features-and-pricing, how-it-works, post-a-job, reviews, Employer Branding Ads and Spotlight Pages pages, its Indeed partnership help article, Indeed's pricing page and pricing guide, and Vendr's Glassdoor page in Chrome through Playwright over CDP, and captured the visible text. Every quoted figure is an exact string from those renders, stored with its URL and fetch time in this article's research record. Merger dates are from Reworked (24 July 2026) and USA Today (11 July 2025). Demand check: DataForSEO measured 90 monthly US searches for "glassdoor pricing" on the same date.

Limitations. Glassdoor publishes no paid-plan price, so the only dollar figures here are Vendr's buyer-reported estimates from 39 purchases, which may include product bundles Glassdoor no longer sells. This is a check of Glassdoor's public US pages, not a sample of invoices. Indeed's sponsored-job cost depends on its recommended budget for your role and market, so we cannot state a per-job price. Noon sells recruiting software, so the Noon section describes our own plan structure, not an independent comparison.
