Gabe Dillon

Grid Talent

No one grows up saying they'll be a top recruiter but the people who become great at it end up opening doors for countless others.

Gabe Dillon has been named to the Talent 100, Class of 2026, the annual award recognizing the 100 most exceptional leaders and practitioners in talent acquisition. Honorees are selected by the Talent 100 committee from thousands of nominations and candidates across the industry, chosen for the impact of their work, the depth of their craft, and their influence on the future of recruiting. This is Gabe's story.

An Unexpected Start

Like many recruiters, Gabe Dillon never planned on a career in talent acquisition.

Fresh out of college, he was pursuing Business Development Representative roles when a recruiter reached out to help him through the interview process. At first, he didn't fully understand how the profession worked.

"Wait... do I have to pay you?" he remembers asking.

Once he learned how recruiting actually worked, something clicked.

The profession itself became more interesting than many of the jobs he was interviewing for.

Curious by nature and driven by competition, Gabe joined an agency recruiting firm where he learned the fundamentals of sales, recruiting, and relationship building.

What began as an unexpected career quickly became a passion.

"No one grows up saying they'll be a top recruiter but the people who become great at it end up opening doors for countless others."

Building a Reputation

Over the next several years, Gabe established himself as a trusted recruiting partner, helping high-growth technology companies build commercial teams while developing long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.

He believes recruiting is ultimately a relationship business. While resumes and interviews matter, trust, transparency, and consistency are what create lasting partnerships.

Those principles have remained the foundation of his career and continue to shape how he approaches every search today.

Founding Grid Talent

In 2026, Gabe founded Grid Talent, a specialized recruiting firm focused exclusively on real estate, property management, and property technology.

Rather than serving every industry, Grid Talent was built around a simple philosophy: become experts in one market and deliver exceptional results through specialization.

Today, Grid Talent partners with startups, growth-stage companies, and established organizations across the property ecosystem, helping hire commercial, operational, and technical talent while acting as a long-term strategic hiring partner.

From boutique property management firms and brokerages to rapidly growing PropTech companies, Grid Talent was created to bridge the gap between exceptional talent and the businesses shaping the future of real estate.

The Talent 100 exists to celebrate the people shaping the future of how the world hires, and few embody that better than Gabe. We are honored to welcome Gabe Dillon to the Talent 100, Class of 2026, and grateful for the experience, perspective, and craft they bring to this community. Congratulations, Gabe. Welcome to the Talent 100.
