Since launch, the application has garnered over 15 million channel tunes and 2 million VOD (Video on Demand) tunes. -> Developed the Alerts EBIF application that displays different types of messages on the TV to a user including Caller ID, home security, text messaging, billing reminders and calendar events. Development required reworking the existing Caller ID EBIF application architecture to allow for current and future extension of messaging functionality. -> Created a RESTful web service using Node.js and Express for a prototype application that stored network device information into MongoDB. Also wrote a front end interface to manage the database entries using Backbone.js for MVC structure and Twitter Bootstrap for UI. -> Created automation test suites in Java which ran nightly and on code check in as part of our continuous integration process. The automation tests helped decrease testing time by upwards of 33%. -> Managed and collaborated testing efforts of local and remote teams, created test plans and test responsibility matrices to minimize test redundancy.
