DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF SOFTWARE FOR SIGNAL PROCESSING ALGORITHMS ▪ Worked on controller IC firmware application for optical image stabilization and auto focus. ▪ Designed software and developed floating point C code for DSP blocks supporting input filtering, decimation and custom signal processing. ▪ Developed unit tests to verify the designed module performance, facilitate changes, simplify debugging and improve test coverage. ▪ Performed software profiling, MIPS and memory optimization. FIXED POINT C CODE DEVELOPMENT ▪ Developed fixed point C code for various signal processing blocks in SoundClear solutions. ▪ Made this code agnostic so as to reuse it for DSPs with different fixed point format (Q format). ▪ Implemented and tested SoundClear solutions on ADSP2, Cirrus’ advanced DSP system. DEBUGGING AND TESTING ▪ Worked on JTAG debugger to debug real time on DSP platform. ▪ Developed MATLAB scripts that automate testing by loading configuration file and firmware image on DSP, run tests and finally provide test results. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF FLOATING POINT C CODE FFT VERSUS FIXED POINT C CODE FFT ▪ Designed 1024 point FFT in floating point C. ▪ Performed floating point to fixed point C conversions and vice versa to integrate the designed floating point C FFT into fixed point C framework. ▪ Evaluated performance of floating point FFT versus Fixed point FFT and observed higher precision in float FFT.

Work on the PHY layer and MAC layer design of Bluetooth and Wifi technology. Job responsibilities included transmitter and receiver design for bluetooth technology and measure its performance in the presence of interference. Also worked on the Internet of Things application - Mesh. Created a network of Bluetooth smart devices and controlled the network using a single smartphone. Also, developed protocols that routed BLE packets and implemented isochronous channels and multicast routing in the mesh.
