Engineering Execution Lead
Jan 2021 - Present
2 years 11 months
Engineering execution lead and cost account manager for a subsystem of a corporate priority program with C-level visibility. Responsible for all aspects of engineering and all supporting non-engineering program functions for a subsystem, with schedule and budget responsibility for $65M+ of scope. This role required strong leadership over a team of 40-60 individuals, excellent organizational skills to keep track of the many tasks and deadlines to meet, and efficient and effective communication to clearly share information throughout the entire 200+ person team spread across the country. In addition to my role as an engineering leader, I also needed to perform individual contributor tasks, especially early on in the program when staffing resources were still ramping up. This mix of detailed technical work all the way up to strategically looking ahead at program milestones and proactively working to address future problems has made this role my most challenging professional assignment to date.
