I work on optimizing our Apache Solr based search platform for our large retail catalogue and building tools that give us access to our Hadoop-bound weblog data for error diagnostics and business intelligence purposes.  Features I've contributed include incorporating insights from clickstream data into search result rankings and patching Solr source code to improve text processing for our German catalog.
