Software Engineer

GoSite is an all-in-one platform that makes it easy for users to integrate technology in their business. I joined as part of our Sites team, who is responsible for the Sites product.
 
Highlights:
• Created API endpoints for different HubSpot integrations that keep data consistent and communicate any necessary actions other department members need to take
• Worked closely with the Sites Product Manager as an interim Project Manager/Product Owner. Discussed new product objectives and deliverables. Helped organize the Jira board to keep track of the team's progress
• Collaborated with other team members on a new hosting solution using Caddy and AWS for our new sites
• Built new features on top of our core applications with the help of feature flagging through Config Cat and testing through Jest and Cypress

Full Stack Engineer

I expanded my responsibilities to client work. I acquired the project manager role by leading client meetings, estimating budget, and proposing contracts for two main projects. 
Highlights:
• Worked with ArcGIS and Google Maps API to launch a new pipeline data tool with mapping features to revamp client’s internal process
• Learned scraping mechanisms through Selenium WebDriver to automate data extractions from client’s sources that goes into creating variety of reports and charts
• Built a dashboard and report generating app for another client using the MERN stack. Utilized the Material UI framework to provide clients a clean and interactive dashboard that has the flexibility to display different analytics.

I worked on the ContinuM app, which was a project management and team collaboration app that uses the .NET framework. I was responsible for fixing UI bugs and improving user experience and later transitioned to building new features. 
Highlights:
• Incorporated the native drag and drop API that allows users to move tasks around different projects
• Proposed and implemented a new feature to the chat system that gives users the ability to bookmark a chat item  
• Updated the data model and migrated data through SQL to fulfill new ViewModel’s requirements

Software Intern

CAIDA (Center for Applied Internet Data Analysis) carries out different research on the internet. I was responsible for fixing and enhancing the user flow on an interactive survey, built on Meteor JS, that grabs data on internet speed.
