At a hiring event for Software Engineers, he patiently waited for recruiters from a company he had set his sights on. When those recruiters were occupied, Bradley noticed an adjacent table with available recruiters from a company not on his list. Undeterred, he decided to strike up a conversation. This seemingly random encounter led to Bradley's employment with Mindtree, marking the exciting beginning of his career as a Software Engineer.
Mindtree's onboarding process for fresh graduates involved Bradley traveling to India, where he resided for three months at their training facility in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The training program was entirely self-directed, and Bradley focused on honing his skills in Full Stack Web Development with the .NET Framework.
Adapting to a foreign country and experiencing culture shock put Bradley's ability to embrace change to the ultimate test. Surprisingly, he not only survived but thrived, growing in ways he had never imagined. Effectively navigating the challenges, he learned to collaborate with diverse groups, sharpened his leadership and communication skills, and gained a broader perspective on the world.
After completing the training, Bradley relocated to the PNW and began working as a vendor/contractor in Redmond, Washington, serving Mindtree's largest client, Microsoft. Working onsite, he collaborated closely with Microsoft's FTEs, delivering code that precisely met their business requirements.
