As the engineering lead for Landing Pages, I set the technical direction for a brand new Landing Pages feature. The team developed and launched a minimum viable product in just over three months without any major bugs. Landing Pages went on to become MailChimp’s fastest growing feature in two years. In this role I spent about 30% of my time writing code and 70% delivering features: collaborating with design to clarify and focus the product manager’s vision, working with the product manager to plan and scope work, turning the product manager’s vision into specifications for engineers, clearing a path for engineers when they got stuck through technical mentorship, replanning, etc. After releasing Landing Pages, I pitched an infrastructure team to tackle improving Mailchimp's background job runner in order to make it more stable, usable, and observable. As an Engineer, I worked on both the product and infrastructure sides of MailChimp. While on the product side, I worked on the Campaigns and Lists team, building customer-favorite features such as emoji subject lines and subscriber popup forms. While on the infrastructure side, I worked on improving MailChimp's in-house MVC framework and overhauling its logging system to allow for structured, searchable, discoverable data across all of our applications.

Developed creative story concepts for GPS location based games. Programed story environments using the Wherigo toolset and Lua scripting language. Designed and developed Wherigo website and tutorial websites.
