SDE Intern

I work closely with the instructor of UW’s second introductory programming course, CSE 143.  I manage a team of 20 TAs and occasionally lecture to the class of 400 students when the instructor is unavailable.  I revise existing grading criteria, ensure consistency in scoring practices, and update the unit tests and scripts used to automatically pre-grade student homework submissions.  The course instructor and I lead weekly staff meetings to prepare the TAs to both teach and grade that week.

Computer Science Head TA

I worked on the Windows Phone Operating System with a focus on user experience.

I taught 20 students twice a week about programming in Java, worked in the study center answering student questions, and graded assignments and exams.

Undergraduate Computer Science TA

I worked on a customer facing logging feature for Amazon Redshift, a petabyte-scale data warehouse within Amazon Web Services.  I did research on related projects within the company, wrote my design specification, and implemented the feature, complete with unit tests.
